A: The first day my teacher saw me, he thought I had something in my mouth. I almost got in trouble, until I told him I had braces and he got a closer look.

A: Well duh! Lightning is attracted to metal so if you have a lot of braces you’re DOOMED!

A: (Anna) Taking responsibility, learning how to manage and take care of my teeth.
A: (Tino) They gave me a reason to get out of class.
Q: Tell us something funny that has happened regarding your braces:
A: (Anna) One of my wires fell out during the Regional Spelling Bee. I hurt a bit so I may have sounded funny talking into the mic.
A: (Tino) I bit on my sleeve, and they got stuck. So for 10 full minutes, my arm was attached to my mouth.

A: I wasn’t allowed to eat junk food, so I lost weight.

A: I don’t know, I affect radio reception even without braces.

A: I was in school and food got caught into my expander so I was like trying to get it out and my friend said “Piper, what are you doing with your mouth? Giving it surgery?!” HAHA!
Q: (Braces Mythbusters) Am I going to set off the metal detector at the airport?
A: I wish! That would be fun to say, “Oh it’s just my mouth!”
